I am setting up my shopping cart to sell digital goods direct and although I believe I have set up the sql server side correctly and email I am receiveing a number of errors. The manual seems to be short on explanation and after looking up the forum they seem to only refer to errors based on previous versions of comersus.
Would it be possible to email me a complete guide on the steps necessary to allow me to configure the shopping cart so I'm able to sell digital products?
My problems so far…
1) In demo mode i test a transaction to purchase a digital product using my paypal account set up. I then go to backoffice+ to see the product ordered which is fine. When however I mark the product as paid i get the below errors.
There are errors in your BackOffice+: Update Error in comersus_backoffice_updateTransactionResults.asp, error: Object variable not set – Err.Number:91 – SQL:UPDATE orders SET transactionResults='', orderStatus=4 WHERE idOrder=13
The same occurs when i try the visa under off line payment option.

2)Digital goods configuration. I have uploaded into the digital goods folder a product which is zipped then, as stated in the manual, gone into the backoffice+ set up to configure the product and have included the product name in the digital goods text box (the same as the file name) therfore assuming in tranaction the cart would find the zipped product and download to the customer on completion of order. The problem is the customer receives no emails stating the order is in process or has gone through or has been declined – nothing – is this beacuse it's in demeo mode if so I changed it to live mode and it still does the same thing…
I really need your help!
