setting permissions

Comersus Version: 7097
Database type: Access
Frequency: Random issue
I have a remote server with ASP capabilities, and have uploaded the files to the root directory. I'm not sure what permissions to set where, and when I try to get the wizard to launch, I get a "cannot find server" page.

Hi,
If you have a Windows Server, you have to provide all permissions to comersus/database folder. If you have a Linux server, you have to migrate the Access database to mySQL database, then edit includes/settings.asp to use mySQL.
If you are getting cannot find server error, then check the URL in your Explorer Bar.

I set permissions of 777 to the folers/files you recommended, but I get a "cannot find web page" error when I type dnsbooks.startlogic.com/comersus/backofficelite
what else do I need to do?

1. Make sure that your web hosting supports ASP execution
2. Comersus files were not uploaded to http://dnsbooks.startlogic.com/comersus/
Check the installation using FTP
