I had the cart sending some emails when i first got the cart working, but recently I upgraded to the newest version release in june 08, and ever since then i do not receive any emails either to the customer or the administrator. I went back to the old cart from before the June 08 upgrade and i still cannot get my email to work. Any ideas?
I get the following error in the email test:
Trying to send email…
Error while sending email: 550 5.7.1 … Relaying denied . Have you installed and configured the right email component in this server?. If you don't want this message to appear just change the setting in Database Settings.
From : email@example.com
To : firstname.lastname@example.org
Subject : Comersus e-mail diagnostics
Body : This configuration works! Component:PersitsASPMail SMTP Server:mail.mystore.com Email From:email@example.com

My provider said I am using ASPersits and i know i have the user/password in correctly for my account. I also have mail.provider.com in the smtp out box which i believe is correct.
What is the problem? I am not receiving any emails at all?
